Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Matt founded TruLife Communities in 2020 after a career as a real estate attorney and homebuilder, and leads TruLife Group — the parent of TruLife Communities, TruLife Build, and TruLife Homes. He holds a BBA in Finance from TCU and a JD from Baylor Law. He is the principal on every TruLife deal, and he answers the phone.
Director of Construction
25+ years of building experience, including senior roles with some of the largest production and custom builders in the country. Leads the build in the field with an obsession for detail, materials, and craft.
Vice President of Development, TruLife Group
A Texas attorney with more than nine years in land acquisition, development, and asset management — 1,300+ homes and more than $450 million in total capitalization. Preston leads underwriting and structuring on TruLife’s investments.

We host events where experts share insight on financial management, parenting, marriage, career growth, and healthier living. And we have community coordinators who live on site for the sole purpose of implementing the TruLife culture and fulfilling our mission.
